A mask used by the Fang people in the ngil ceremony (an inquisitorial search for sorcerers). The Fang people are a subgroup of the Beti-Pahuin peoples. The Fang are predominant in Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome and Principe as well as parts of the Republic of Congo.
